ABEL LOZANO

Abel Lozano Valle was born on November 30, 1972, in Mexico City. Currently residing in Zacatecas, he is the director of the Taller de pintura y grabado Huehuecóyotl since 2017. Abel's passion for art is evident in his continuous pursuit of knowledge and skills in various artistic disciplines. He has received training in marble carving, printmaking, and sculpture under the guidance of renowned masters such as Iván Leaños and Luis García. With a rich exhibition history, Abel has showcased his individual works in galleries across Mexico and internationally. His exhibitions, both in painting and printmaking, reflect his deep introspection and exploration of themes such as faith, migration, and cultural identity. In addition to his personal artistic endeavors, Abel is dedicated to sharing his passion for art with others. He has conducted workshops, given lectures, and served as a professor of fine arts at institutions like Colegio Marcelino Champagnat and CAIPAC. Through his teaching, Abel aims to inspire young minds and foster a love for artistic expression. Abel Lozano Valle's artistic journey is marked by creativity, dedication, and a commitment to continuous growth. His work has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the "Cultura hasta donde estes" prize in Zacatecas, Zacatecas, in 2020.
